An-My Le
An-My Le has produced a lot of work with regards to the common military lifestyle that has been seen in photography to capture the realism exemplified in common battle. Her work shows the tension and destruction seen in war-torn countries. Whether in color, or black and white, a numerous amount of her work tries to capture war for what it really is, and the effects afterwards. Her work encapsulates the and represents what society, as a collective whole, contemplates about the processes of war in general. Her work is very natural, and it shows a great deal of dramatic effect with regards to the juxtaposition of certain elements within the piece itself. It is at the basis of an artist, to depict the world in the way they perceive it to be, whether it be negative or positive, what you recieve from An-My Le is factual and not over emphasized. Her work is successful in revealing the agony of war, and the consequences of battle.
